The Office of Research Services (ORS) provides mission-critical services and infrastructural elements to the UGA research community. Our goals support a high-quality research environment typical of a first-class research university. Specifically, they include:
- Assure access to state-of-the-art, high-quality analytical instrumentation, office automation equipment, chemicals, laboratory apparatus, and expendable laboratory supplies;
- Provide logistical support and information systems in compliance with federal, state and UGA regulations to track chemicals from initial ordering to their final disposal;
- Enhance the research environment with professional technical expertise, cost-competitive services and materials in a quick, convenient manner; and
- Build and maintain a user-friendly infrastructure for the ordering and delivery of products and services to the UGA research community.
